What We Do

Four mandates, one standard.

Every activity of the company sits inside one of four mandates. If it does not fit a mandate, it does not get done — no matter how exciting it sounds.

Holding & Asset Stewardship

The core mandate

The holding company owns and protects the group’s core assets: investment capital, equity interests in operating companies, trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property. Assets are held, documented, and reviewed — never casually spent.

Capital & Ventures

Private capital

Private capital allocation across public markets and early-stage ventures, governed by written mandates, position limits, and review discipline. Eyekus invests its own capital; it does not manage money for the public and does not solicit outside funds.

Athletics & Performance

Operating venture

The athletics lane is carried by an operating venture the house owns. Coaching and training themselves are the founder’s personal practice — built client by client in Toronto gyms, and kept outside the holding company.

Media & Intellectual Property

Books, brands & digital products

Books, brands, and digital products owned by the group — including the Kal(I)doscopic manuscript and the Eyekus marks — are developed, registered, and licensed from the holding company, so creative work is treated as the asset it is.

Accessibility is a house standard, not a feature.

Under this mandate sits Eyekus Digital, the publishing home for every digital product the group ships — websites, apps and games. We take accessibility seriously — across the board, and above all in those products. Everything Eyekus Digital publishes ships with working large-text, high-contrast and reduced-motion options on every page, preferences that are remembered, and an accessible presentation that carries all of the information the visual one does. Nothing goes out until it meets that standard.
